looking back

Browsed through my past posts and I’m glad I recorded those milestones down. Great memories indeed! Shall continue to post regularly so that I can have more to look back on! :) it was a waste that I didn’t post anything on Internship or took many photos with our uniforms on. Sigh big time. Oh well, these shall all remain in our hearts!

pineapple tarts!

Hey!

School has been well. Today is the fourth day of Spring 2012. Everything has been good. Prepared some of these Pineapple tarts this morning – helped my mom with the dough and she wrapped the filing in then sent in to the oven for baking.

Taking modules like College Algebra, Human Resource Management and World Literature this term. College Algebra makes me feel happy and thankful for the A-maths that I took during O levels. Thank you Mr Sekhar and Mrs Mani and the tutor at Mavis Tuition Centre (5 years back) for teaching me A-maths then. Really wondered the point of studying A-maths then as it seemed to be of no use but now it does help. :) World Literature is quite alright except that we had a 39 page pdf to start with.

HRM is quite alright with the prof being strict on the tardiness.

Till then,
Happy Lunar New Year!

Wishing all a Happy and Prosperous Lunar New Year!

新年快乐,万事如意,身体健康!

Happy Birthday Best Friend!

Last week I attended Jacq’s 21st Birthday. Met up with Jes, YZ and Nic at NEX and cabbed down to her place. It was a very luxurious house and we were greeted with this orange lotus car

Hi Guys!

Happy New Year! Happy 2012!

HAHAH omg I’m like 2 week late! LOL Things have been going quite well so far. Have been spending my holidays working every alternate days. Lack of $$$$ ! and earn some more before school starts on 16 Jan. There hasn’t been anything special going on so far. The most recent one was the Rebel 15 Class BBQ Chalet. around 30+ of us went for it and it was good, great catching with classmates that I didn’t really talked much to. It was a really good bonding session as we were all busy with our school work. Some didn’t attend due to some orientation camp that they were committed to. But overall was a good session and I had to leave early because of the taxi fare. If the surcharge wasn’t so expensive, I would have stayed a bit later and could have cabbed home since its just nearby at downtown east.

I’m right now contemplating about some stuffs that might affect school?

This is the amount of girls that we have in our class - not forgetting those who weren't there.

Reminiscing the days that we had

Met up with Pearlyn, Kenn, Uncle Eddie (who was back to renew his passport) and Alicia (who was back from Swiss for a holiday in Singapore before heading to Hong Kong for her internship). We caught up with each other, talking about current happenings in and out of USS and Kenn reminded us that yesterday was our second year working in Resorts World Sentosa. Our first day having our OJT with Park Services. I miss the days that I had during internship. I miss the managers and the crew that I was working with then. Internship days were the best days of my life! Given a chance, I would really want to relive it! :O)

Things that were done before turning twenty-one

This was my first stay over in a luxurious hotel. For the past few years, I have never stayed overnight at chalets which includes birthdays, class gatherings and what ever. On Monday (26 December 2011), I stayed overnight at Marina Bay Sands (MBS) Tower 1 Level 12 Room 86. It was a grand room and it was around three quarter the size of my home.

All thanks to Shermaine’s parents who booked a room and Shermaine invited us for a stayover, at the same time to celebrate Stella’s 21st Birthday. Before reaching MBS, I accompanied my brother for his first book-in after his two weeks of book-out from the camp.

Then I headed to Marina Bay via Promenade Station. When I stepped onto the Olympic Park, I saw this breathtaking skyline at Marina Bay just beside the Floating Platform. The wishing spheres for the Marina Bay Countdown was there. Lasers and lightings were flashed onto the spheres that were floating on the river. Many took photos of it and of course I did!

Alicia, Kenn, Uncle Siew Foo, Kelias, Jerome, Uncle Eddie.

BUSY WEEK.

Hi everyone!

Sorry I haven’t been blogging for the past two weeks after the StanChart Marathon. Was really really busy with school projects and all. Finally I’m having my three weeks break before the Spring 2012 term starts on 16 January. Everything has been great so far. Xmas was spent working at USS with close to 17k crowd (which was really really tiring). Crowd management is a skill to be learned I feel as huge crowds are always hard to manage. -.-

After Xmas its New Year’s Eve. Time flies and I’m heading to Marina Bay Sands Hotel for a stay over with my Uni clique and a birthday celebration for a friend.

Annual Marina Bay Countdown 2012 is coming soon and I haven’t been going for any of the events that was organised due to the amount of work that I was assigned to and kinda missed all the deadlines. :(

Hope y’all had a Merry Christmas and have a blessed new year ahead!
