REVIEW – Eat.play.love

I heard about those cafe hopping and saw those photos of the food on instagram. It was something that I wanted to explore but did not know the means and wanted a buddy to go together as well.

I visited eat.play.love with Shimin the other day and it was a really nice cafe with the decorations and everything. Some photos I took

I think this is a very nice concept cafe with very nice decorations. I liked the themeing but I think the service has room for improvement.  We were not sure if we had to order at the counter or the waitress would come to take our order. It was a bit confusing on the service flow. Service was quite slow.

Food was ok and utensils used were very vintage and very old-school which was very good. I presume it is a family cafe as there were many parents with young children. There were also handicraft corners for the children like the shrink plastic and the coloring corner. The “play” aspect were very much there.

The cafe is very well themed and is very good for photographers and photos that were taken on this post were taken by my humble samsung s4 camera.

Last thing: Tiramisu Hero was available there. Each was about $7 and one is able to choose from original, coffee or horlicks. It does not contain alcohol so young children are able to have it as well

It is located at 28 Aliwal Street in Kampong Glam. Very easy to locate. Near beach road as well.
